QUALITY
We make beautiful products and aim for the highest quality. To ensure this both locations of the DGS Group are certified according to the BRC Global Standard Food Issue Level A. This standard for quality systems is internationally accepted. Both locations are audited every year by Lloyd’s Register. Additionally, both locations are certified by Skal for producing biological products.
At both locations there is a permanent Quality employee working, dealing exclusively with quality and environmental issues. On a daily basis both the raw materials and the production are thoroughly checked. The end products are only allowed to leave our buildings when they meet our strict norms. On a weekly basis samples are tested by an external laboratory. Here they are tested for microbiological, sensory and physical aspects.
Of course all our products comply with current legislation and the determined specifications. Yet we go further and aim for developments in the market, like reducing allergens and additives in products. By optimising the methods of preparation it is possible to make tasteful, non-perishable meat products without allergens, chemical colouring and flavouring and a minimum of preservatives.
